Refined sugar responsible for caries

It is thanks to the work of Dr. Max-Henri Béguin that we can now enjoy the full benefits of sugar.
The Swiss pediatrician who has nothing to do with the family of sugar of the same name, had been aware of the research conducted by one of his colleagues, Dr. Alfred Roos, on oral health. Based on studies, mostly conducted in fifteen long isolated Swiss villages, Dr. Roos noted that dental caries had emerged among children as the introduction of refined sugars and grains in their diets. He also noted that during the rationing sugar and refined grains of the Second World War, the number of cavities had dropped sharply, then was reassembled the following years ...
In 1950, Dr. Béguin proceed first in the analysis of white sugar and brown sugar ( "Complete"), and determines that the second is ten times richer in minerals than the first. He undertook to advise mothers who come to consult to give their children the fuller sugar practicable, and bread as well.
Ten years later, initial results enable it to determine that white sugar is primarily responsible for the appearance of dental caries, followed by white bread.
